This post brought to you by Kia Rio. All opinions are 100% mine.

“They say the joy of an adventure is not the destination itself, but the journey that leads you to it.”

I will stand a little to my name lakwachera (always a wanderer!). And, speaking of the one that leads us to our destination; literally means a ride - part of it I would say.  But have you thought of them both to be equally exciting? Well as a traveler, what would make my travel complete is being able to rich from east to west and from the hot center to the freezing north and south with exciting adventure. But given a chance on a scavenger hunt on a discover landmarks of L.A is totally awesome.

Now, you’ve heard of geocache? Well if not yet, let me tell you this it's a wonderful new high-tech scavenger hunt.  One that you do in your car, using the in-car high tech instead of a hand held GPS. The challenge was in Los Angeles, and took participants to The Griffith Park Merry-Go-Round, Amoeba Records, Rodeo Drive, Pink’s Hot Dogs, and the Roosevelt Hotel. It’s Kia who sent a couple of best friends on the challenge in the 2012 Kia Rio 5-door.

The first challenge starts in Griffin Park.  Challenge is to use your cubes to Answer L.A. trivia questions. (Check out the video to see what the "cube" means.)  The second challenge is at Amoeba Records. It is to find a hidden Christina Milian CD.  Yay!  Amoeba Records has huge collections of music!

Second to the last challenge is to count palm trees on Rodeo Drive.  They found out about it, because the car talked to them and told them what to do.  And lastly (also spoken by the car via a Bluetooth call) was to get a hotdog from Pink's.  Their clue was on the plate in the form of a QR Code which they photo’d with their cell phone and got the next clue!

So want to see how exciting it becomes? Of course I got the video. Caution! This video might take you to fantasy land so be sure to pack your thing up first ha-ha.

See how loaded features can make the most of our adventure?  Like Bluetooth, rear camera display, navigation, USB jack and nothing beats the UVO Technology. They couldn't have done it without the awesome technology.

Whew! What a fully loaded new techs, isn’t it? Think you love scavenger hunts as much as I do then maybe we could meet sometime, somewhere and take a challenge together eh! Want to check for more? Vist Rio Explorer Page!
